About

ABOUT EMERALD GROVE

Our journey began in 2010, inspired by a lifelong love of Australian Shepherds. In 2012, we introduced Poodles for their low-shedding coats and easy-going nature. By 2020, we added Bernese to bring calm, steady traits and even greater versatility. Now 4 generations in, our goal remains the same: to produce intelligent, loyal, low-shedding, well-balanced companions. While our Doodles may not suit everyone, we’re proud to offer happy, healthy, and even-tempered puppies raised with care, from our home to yours.

ABOUT THE BREEDS

About The Aussiedoodle

(Aussie x Poodle)

Smart, loyal, eager to please, medium-high energy level, therapy and service dog potential, active and loyal. Aussiedoodles are generally sensitive, which makes them very easy to train. However, without proper socialization, they can lean into being a “one-person" dog. Aussiedoodles make outstanding family pets, travel and/or hiking buddies, and much more. Aussiedoodles are the best of both worlds: the outgoing and lovable nature of the Poodle, and the loyalty and intelligence of the Aussie.

About The Aussie Mtn Doodle

(Aussie x Bernese x Poodle)

Smart, loyal, and eager to please, with a medium energy level, potential as a therapy and service dog, social, and outgoing. Aussie Mountain Doodles are generally outgoing, which makes them very easy to socialize. However, they can sometimes be stubborn and a little “too smart for their own good". Aussie Mountain Doodles make outstanding family pets, travel and/or hiking buddies, and much more. They are the best of three worlds: the outgoing and lovable nature of the Poodle, the loyalty and intelligence of the Aussie, and the bravery and steadiness of the Bernese.

Which would be the best fit for my family?

Overall, both crosses make fantastic family dogs, as well as working dogs, and there isn't a “wrong" choice between the two. Consider all the information above, but base your choice more on the individual puppy (and the temperament of their parents) than on their breed makeup alone.
